Zena has been in business for 35 years, worked as an educator for Matrix hair care for 8 years before opening Azario Salon & Day Spa in year 2000.

Zena is a hair stylist, colorist, esthetician, and  make-up artist.

Zena has traveled the world for education to bring into the salon the latest styles & equipment. Visit our state of the art facility for the pampering you deserve.

Lisa Azar is a premier massage therapist with over two decades of experience in the art of healing touch. A graduate of the prestigious Virginia School of Massage, Lisa has been transforming the wellness industry since 2001. Her exceptional skill and intuitive approach have made her a sought-after expert. Using massage therapy, reiki,  reflexology and other modalities she helps clients achieve deep relaxation and rejuvenation.Since 2002, Lisa has been a cornerstone of Azario Salon & Day Spa in Roanoke, Virginia, where she delivers bespoke massage therapies that blend luxury with holistic healing. Beyond her mastery in massage, Lisa is also a licensed esthetician, offering a refined touch to beauty and wellness treatments. With her dedication to excellence and passion for self-care, Lisa Azar continues to set the standard for relaxation and renewal.

Lorin Hanger is a passionate hairstylist and makeup artist who began her journey in the beauty industry at a young age. Licensed at just 19. Lorin quickly developed a reputation for creativity, precision, and a deep understanding of hair and makeup artistry. Lorin loves bringing clients’ visions to life—whether through bold, vibrant hues or seamless, natural blends. Lorins strongest passion is for makeup, using it as another avenue to enhance beauty and boost confidence. With a keen eye for detail and a growing knowledge of trends and techniques, Lorin continues to refine  her craft, ensuring that every client leaves the chair feeling their absolute best! Lorin’s goal is always the same: to make people feel beautiful, empowered, and uniquely themselves. 

Whitney Braaten

Whitney Braaten began her journey into cosmetology under the help and guidance of Zena Azar. She began working with Azrio salon in 2018 as an assistant and served as an apprentice. Since then, she has achieved her cosmetology license through Azrio institute. Along with working inside of the salon, Whitney has also been assisting with weddings and other events. Whether it’s manicures, pedicures, hair color,  hair treatments or styles she hopes to make you feel beautiful inside and out!
